October - If my website doesn't look much different from two years ago, it's because my positions haven't changed much since two years ago. Nobody can call me a 'flip-flopper'. Be that as it may. Once again, I have essentially nil probability of winning. My purpose in running is to steer discussion to important topics and keep my opponents honest (if that's possible...). So far I've engaged Harry and Dave in a couple of debates and the differences are about what you'd expect. Next week, 10/22, will be a couple of televised debates, on channel 8 (Horizon) and on Scottsdale cable which often goes to CSPAN.

I will post links to other Libertarian candidates as their website addresses become available.

About me ...

Picture of Warren SeverinI’m 57 years old and have been a resident of Ahwatukee for twelve years.  My wife, Jonny, and I have been married for nineteen years.  We have three grown children – Brian, Nicole, and Jamen – and two grandchildren, with a third on the way. Also two dogs – an alaskan husky rescued from the pound and a greyhound that we rescued from the race track.

I attended the University of Illinois and received a degree in computer engineering.  I worked at Kodak for 23 years as an engineering manager and then strategic marketing manager.  Twelve years ago I moved to Phoenix to work for Intel and then Philips Electronics, working both places in strategic marketing.  For a while I owned my own small sign business in Tempe, and now I work for ON Semiconductor in Phoenix.

Over 35 years in big and small businesses have given me some valuable experience.  As an engineer I understand math and the technical sides of issues.  My strategic marketing roles have given me quite a bit of experience in leading the direction.  I want to apply this experience to help the citizens of District 5 get the government services that are necessary to promote a civil society, with minimal government interference in our personal lives and finances.
